Cemtrex Inc. today announced that it has recently completed its ISO 9001:2008 certification for its monitoring and instrumentation business. ISO 9001:2008 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to.

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO's best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer's requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

Saagar Govil, Chief Executive Officer of Cemtrex, commented, "Many of our potential customers require the ISO 9001 certification as a prerequisite to becoming a supplier. This certification now enables us to go after new opportunities in the industry that we previously could not and ensure we deliver a high level of service to our customers. Additionally as we begin to manufacture our products in this business, the ISO Certified quality management system will help ensure our competitiveness in the future. I want to commend our team for doing a great job in obtaining the certification."
